If your congregation is passionate about “creation care,” consider attending the 2019 Coastal Green Team Summit October 19th from 8am-2pm. The state-wide event will be held at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church on Skidaway Island as an interfaith effort to support environmental stewardship in congregations around the state.
Keynote speaker Dr. Matthew Sleeth will discuss “Reforesting Faith: What Trees Teach us About the Nature of God.” There will be a variety of workshops and a sustainably sourced lunch.
